Best Bubbles recipe ever!

When I was a kid, sometimes we would get bubbles for our birthday or something fun and they ran out so quickly, then mom would make more homemade and it was never as good as the store bought stuff.
This weekend at a family reunion, my cousin Tamara who used to work at a pre-school shared this recipe, it is the BEST!
Super easy bubbles
1/2 C. Dawn
1 1/2 C. Water
1/3 C. Corn syrup
Try it, now you actually have a good way to use corn syrup
I was trying to used found objects in my kitchen for the bubble wand, because I know we have at least 3 of them but I couldn’t find them anywhere, I used an apple corer and it made these great big huge bubbles.
The kids this weekend were even using just there hands and making huge bubbles.
Enjoy, and thanks Tamara

I think I have all of this right now. Great recipe. Do you know if it works as well with other detergents?

I don’t know, I had Dawn on hand so I used it.
If you try another let me know, you could always half the recipe to waste less if it doesn’t work.

Just a safety note – This stuff has a lot of detergent in it and it stings (but I don’t think injures) in the eyes. I keep a damp towel around to wipe off hands when kids are all done so they don’t rub it in their eyes. BTW I got the recipe from my mentor, Nancy Nugent.

Good thoughts, thanks Tamara, and Nancy.
